2008 Annual Meeting of Progressive States Network & the National Labor Caucus of State Legislators

The National Labor Caucus of State Legislators (NLC) and the Progressive States Network (PSN) invite you to join us for Building a Progressive Majority in the States, our joint Annual Meeting of 2008.

This one-day conference is free and will take place in New Orleans at the W New Orleans Hotel (333 Poydras Street) from 9:00am to 1:30pm on Monday, July 21, 2008, the day before the annual National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit begins. This conference is set to be the largest gathering of progressive state legislators and advocates during this summer's NCSL Legislative Summit!

Join fellow progressive state legislators, labor leaders and state-based advocates at Building a Progressive Majority in the States, where we will develop and share strategies to advance real solutions to the issues that matter most to America’s working families, including the growing economic crisis, worker’s rights, health care, fair immigration reform, and smart growth and clean energy. Through workshops led by our policy experts and state legislative leaders, we will share the state of progressive policies in America’s statehouses, highlight best practices and model legislation, and develop legislative priorities and winning strategies for 2009.

Registration for Building a Progressive Majority in the States is free.
